THE 2026 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING OF THE GEORGE FORMBY SOCIETY 10:30AM SUNDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 2026 The 65th AGM of the George Formby Society will take place in the Washington Suite of the Imperial Hotel, Blackpool on Sunday 13 September at 10:30am sharp. Entry will be granted to only fully paid members upon producing their 2026/27 membership card. Attendees must be in the room prior to the meeting commencing. No further admission will be permitted once proceedings have started The AGM is an opportunity to elect a new committee through a fair democratic process. For your information, the nominations for the 2026/27 executive committee are included below. There will be no ballot this year as all positions are uncontested. If time allows, there will be a limited opportunity to raise any points or questions under AOB.
