frank skinner on george formby

There appears to be some confusion with regard to the transmission times of FRANK SKINNER ON GEORGE FORMBY. The Radio Times Christmas Edition states that the programmes will be transmitted on Thursday 29th December on BBC4 at 22:30 (10:30pm).

However, when you access the programme guide on a Sky or Freeview box, the information states that that at this time the programme to be transmitted will be "A STATE OF MIND -Documentary following two North Korean gymnasts..."

Just to confuse the issue even further, the Radio Times website is still showing Skinner On Formby as the correct show at this time on this date - so just what is happening BBC4?

To make matters worse, the Radio Times website is even stating the show will be repeated (for a fourth time) on January 5th 2012.

The plot thickens!

Update at 10:00 - 27 December 2011

The Radio Times website is now reporting that the program at this time will be A State Of Mind, the item about the two Koreans. So it looks like Frank Skinner On George Formby has been cancelled. But how could this happen? Somebody surely should come forward from the BBC with an explanation. I will try to find out if our item is to be screened in January and report back here.

Update at 10:00 - 29 December 2011

A new screening date of 5th January 2012 at 00:00 (midnight!)
