Radio Pictorial
Radio Pictorial
Radio Pictorial was a prominent British weekly radio program
magazine, published during the "golden age" of radio in the 1930s.
It was independent of the BBC and served as a major source of
information for both BBC programming and the popular commercial
stations broadcasting from the Continent, such as Radio
Luxembourg.
The first issue was published on January 19, 1934, and the last
issue appeared on September 8, 1939. The magazine ceased
publication just as World War II began.

Radio Pictorial
George Formby is all over the pages of Radio Pictorial, with
radio listings for so many music stations, it is easy to see just
how popular George was. Not only does he feature strongly in
all these magazines, he is used in advertisements for
cigarettes and of course, Feenamint laxative - who would be
without it!
